Germantown is an unincorporated community in O'Brien County, Iowa, in the United States.
History
Germantown was platted in 1901. The community was home to K-8th grade St. John Lutheran school, before it merged with Zion Lutheran School in Paullina, Iowa to form Zion- St. John Lutheran School.
Germantown is home to The Hideout, a small local bar where the many Northwest Iowans from miles around come to eat their famous broasted chicken. [2]
