George Hamilton, 3rd Earl of Abercorn
George Hamilton, 3rd Earl of Abercorn (c. 1636 – bef. 1683, Padua) was a Scottish nobleman and peer.
The third, but eldest surviving, son of James Hamilton, 2nd Earl of Abercorn and Katherine Clifton, 2nd Baroness Clifton, he succeeded his father as Earl of Abercorn in about 1670. He died, unmarried, in Padua on his way to Rome and was succeeded by his second cousin once removed, Lord Hamilton of Strabane.[1]
