Gedson Carvalho Fernandes (born 9 January 1999) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for Benfica and the Portugal national team as a midfielder.

Club career

Born in São Tomé, Fernandes made his professional debut with Benfica B in a 2016–17 LigaPro match against Aves on 11 February 2017.[1]
