George Burwell Ward (November 6, 1878 – January 22, 1942)[1] was an American football coach. He served as the head football coach at the University of New Hampshire in 1904, compiling a record of 0–7.
Ward was a graduate of Yale Law School. At Yale he lettered in hockey, football and baseball.[2] Ward later worked as an attorney in Connecticut until his death from a short illness in 1942.[3]
