Friday Film House, is an Indian film production company based in the Malayalam film industry. It was founded by actors Sandra Thomas and Vijay Babu.[1] The Friday Film House won 7 of the Kerala State Film Awards in various fields in 2014. Though the company was established after the release of Friday, the movie is considered as its first production venture. The Friday Film House follows a selective pattern in choosing the premiering date for their releases in such a way that every release day come to be a friday, though exclusions may apply on certain releases ranging from the stage of infancy to settlement of the firm. On January 3, 2017, the founders had a quarrel with each other in their office after which Sandra Thomas filed a case against Vijay Babu. Later both declared that it was a misunderstanding and that Sandra had taken a break from the industry. Subsequently the stake of Sandra in the firm was excluded and the possession solely acquired by Vijay Babu.
