Fernando Uribe Hincapié (born 1 January 1988) is a Colombian footballer who plays as a striker for Flamengo in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A.

Career

Pereira

He made his debut in the Colombian top flight in 2009 with Deportivo Pereira, and the following year contributes to Once Caldas to win the 4th national title with his 24 goals.

Chievo

On 21 January 2011, Uribe was purchased by the Italian team Chievo Verona, with whom he signed a four-year contract. He made his debut with the new jersey on March 6, in the match Chievo-Parma (0–0).

Nacional

In the following season he scored two goals in the fourth preliminary round of the Italian Cup against Modena, match ended 3–0. At middle of 2012 arrives finally to Atlético Nacional.

Millonarios

For the second half of the Colombian Championship 2014, record with Millonarios of Bogotá, which is done through an exchange with the player Harrison Otálvaro.

He scored an important goal on the 17th of May 2015 against Independiente Santa Fe in El Clasico Capitalino where Millonairos needed to win in order to classify to quarterfinals of the Liga Águila. His team went 1–0 down in the first half but he scored the equalizer which later inspired the team to win 3–1 and eliminate Santa Fe from the any hopes of qualifying to the quarterfinals.

On May 21, 2015 he marked a hat trick against Envigado FC for the first leg of the quarterfinals of the Aguila I League where his team won the series 4–0 and virtually sentencing which reached its goal number 12. He also scored in the away fixture where Millonairos fell 3–2 but they advanced to the semifinals on aggregate 6–3 giving uribe his 13th goal of the season.

In the Semifinals of the league, he scored 2 goals against Deportivo Cali in the first leg as Millonairos won 3–2 in their home stadium El Campín which was completely full that night. In the second leg he scored a penalty in the penalty shootout against Cali but unfortunately it wasn't enough for Millonairos as they lost 5–4 on penalties which had ended their very good season.

Deportivo Toluca

On June 23, 2015 Toluca officially announced Uribe as their new striker, in a three-year contract.[1] He made his debut on July 25, in an away match against Tigres UANL, the game ended up 1–0 for Toluca. On July 29, Uribe scored his first hat-trick in the first game of the Copa MX against Necaxa, Toluca won the game 4–2. On 13 September, Uribe scored his second hat-trick (four goals) against Pachuca, winning the match after falling behind 3–1. Toluca won 4–3 during the last couple minutes.

Flamengo

On 26 June 2018 Uribe signed a four-year contract with Brazilian Série A club Flamengo.[2] He debuted for his new club on 19 July 2018 replacing Marlos Moreno on the 62nd minute in a 1-0 Brazilian Série A loss to São Paulo at Maracanã Stadium. Three days later he played his first match as a starter in a 2-0 win over Botafogo. On 29 July 2018 Uribe scored his first goal for Flamengo in a 4-1 win over Sport at Maracanã Stadium.
