Faith & Liberty Discovery Center

Faith & Liberty Discovery Center is a new museum planned by American Bible Society and scheduled to open at Philadelphia's Independence Mall in 2020. The Museum will focus on the impact of the Bible on the men and women who built America, from the Founders, through abolitionists and suffragists, celebrating the civil rights activists, and continuing to the present day.[1][2]

The 40,000 square-foot, $60 million project [3] will be designed by Local Projects, the firm that designed the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. Local Projects has created technology for all visitors, including a lamp, that will help tailor their experiences. [4] Architectural design is being led by the Philadelphia principals of JacobsWyper Architects' SaylorGregg Studio.[5]
