The Fairness Commissioner (French: Commissaire à l’équité) is the Officer of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario responsible for ensuring Ontarians with professional credentials from foreign countries can have fair access to regulated professions.[1] The position was created by the Fair Access to Regulated Professions Act, which came into effect December 2006.
