FC Yerevan (Armenian: Ֆուտբոլային Ակումբ Երեւան Futbolayin Akumb Yerevan), is an Armenian professional football club, who represents the capital Yerevan.[1]

History

FC Yerevan played in the Armenian Premier League, and has won the 1997 title. It was founded in 1995 and only lasted for 5 years.[2] It played its home matches at the Hrazdan Stadium. Right after the 1999 season, the club was dissolved and the players moved on to other clubs within Yerevan.

In 2018, it was announced that the club was revived by the former owners. It is expected that FC Yerevan will participate in the 2018-19 Armenian First League season.
