FK Palanga is a professional football club based in Palanga, Lithuania. The team competes in A Lyga, the top division of Lithuanian football system.[1]
History
In 2010 was established publical organisation "Palangos futbolo klubas". In 2011 "Palanga" team was in Antra lyga (3rd tier) and won this championship.
From 2012 was in Pirma lyga (2nd tier). First three years they was outsiders. In 2015 changed owners of club and team made progres. In 2017 won First leagua and got promotion to A lyga.
In 2018 play in A Lyga (1st tier). Before season club changed logo. In this logo you can see 1957, when was founded first football club in Palanga. Club also rewrited history. Now they pround, that club was founded in 1957 as Nemunas.[2]
