Ezio Martinelli (November 27, 1913–1980) was an American artist who belonged to the New York School Abstract Expressionist artists, a leading art movement of the post-World War II era.[1]
Biography
- 1931: at the Academy of Fine Arts, Bologna. He returned to the US and 1932-1936 studied at the National Academy of Design, NYC with Leon Kroll & Gifford Beal, drawing with Ivan Olinsky, and sculpture with long-time sculpture teacher, Robert Aiken.
