Eurydice of Argos
In Greek mythology, Eurydice (/jʊəˈrɪdɪsi/; Greek: Εὐρυδίκη, Eurydikē "wide justice", derived from ευρυς eurys "wide" and δικη dike "justice) was wife to Acrisius, king of Argos, mother of Danaë and therefore maternal grandmother to Perseus. She was said to have been a daughter to Lacedaemon and Sparta, the legendary founders of Sparta.[1]
