Epping St John's, formerly known as St John's Church of England Voluntary Controlled School, is a school in Epping, Essex.[1][2]

Epping St. John's was established in September 2013. The school is mixed-sex or coeducational.[3] The school underwent two HMI inspections in January 2016 and October 2016. The school is led by Curriculum Directors of Learning who deal with the pupils' learning and progress. A team of Year Directors of Learning deal with all pastoral matters concerning the school.

School logo and motto

The three green trees on the motto represent the Epping Forest. They are grouped together so as to symbolise a sense community and family. The different shapes, in turn, represent the different ages of the students who work together. Cutting across this landscape is the roof line of the main entrance to Epping St John's. These lines connect the new building with the Epping Forest and act as a pathway, and are supposed to symbolise future success.
