The Environment Bureau (Chinese: 環境局; Jyutping: waan4 ging2 guk6) is an executive agency of the Government of Hong Kong responsible for developing policies in environmental protection, nature conservation; enforcing environmental legislation. This also includes monitoring environmental quality, energy efficiency, waste management, renewable energy development, regulatory oversight of the electricity sector in Hong Kong[2][3]

The bureau is managed by the Secretary for the Environment.
