Enis Alushi (born 22 December 1985) is an Kosovo Albanian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Kosovo national team.

Early life

Alushi was born in Mitrovica, SFR Yugoslavia from Kosovo Albanian parents. In June 2011, he began dating fellow footballer Fatmire Bajramaj.[1] The couple announced its engagement the following year. Shortly after, in September 2012 both suffered anterior cruciate ligament injuries in matches within 72 hours of each other.[1] The couple got married in December 2013.[2]

International career

Germany

Alushi has played for the Germany in under-19 and under-20 level and finished third in the group stage of 2004 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship.

Albania

He is of Kosovo Albanian descent, and has declared that he wants to represent Albania and contribute to the "red and black" team.[3]

Kosovo

On 2 March 2014, Alushi received a call-up from Kosovo for the first permitted by FIFA match against Haiti[4] and making his debut after being named in the starting line-up.
