Endorphina

Endorphina Inc. is a Czech online gambling company based in Prague, established in 2012. The company produces virtual slot machines which can be played using virtual currency such as Bitcoins, as well as real currency.

All of their games have been audited by iTech Labs. In 2015 Endorphina signed partnership agreements with two major suppliers of online casino integration platforms, SoftSwiss and BetConstruct.[1][2] Endorphina won the "Product of the Year" award at the Entertainment Arena Expo 2015 in Romania.

In December 2016 the company attracted some controversy in New Zealand, after announcing a slot game called Maori,[3] which featured a number of symbols depicting Māori culture, such as Māori people, waka, Pounamu and an animation of the Haka during the game's bonus feature. Endorphina defended their Maori slot game saying, "it celebrates the cultural heritage of Maori people living in New Zealand." However, Hapai Te Hauora, the Maori public health advocacy organisation, argued that the Maori slot game drew parallels between Māori life and gambling, and was not only insulting but could potentially be harmful to vulnerable people. In February 2017 Endorphina removed the game following the outcry in New Zealand.[4] This was welcomed by indigenous academics and public health experts concerned about the impact of the slot on the Māori community.
