Zorya Luhansk
In March 2016, he signed a contract with Ukrainian club FC Zorya Luhansk, playing in the Ukrainian Premier League.[1] He made his debut for FC Zorya in a game against FC Olimpik Donetsk on 24 July 2016 where he scored on bus debut.[2] Dennis started the season on the bench mostly before given his UEFA Europa League debut vs Feyenoord, 3 November. After impressing against Feyenoord, he got to play the other group stages games vs Fenerbahce and Manchester United as well, with Zorya ending up getting eliminated from the group after finishing last. 11 December, just 3 days after the game against Manchester United, he scored his first goal for Zorya against Stal Kamianske. Dennis hadn't gone unnoticed though, both Manchester City and an unknown German top club were interested in signing him in the winter transfer window.[3][4] He instead ended up staying with Zorya for the rest of the season, helping them to a 3rd place in the league with his 6 goals in 22 league appearances.
Club Brugge
On 30 May 2017, Club Brugge announced that they had signed Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis from Zorya on a 4-year-contract of a fee worth €1.2 million.[5] Dennis was given the number 42 by his new club. He started the season extremely well, scoring 5 goals in 6 matches including a goal in his debut vs İstanbul Başakşehir and a brace vs Lokeren.
