Arnaut Groeneveld Danjuma (31 January 1997) is a professional football player who currently plays for Club Brugge as a midfielder.[1] Born in Nigeria, Danjuma is a youth international for the Netherlands.

Career

Groeneveld joined PSV Eindhoven in 2008 from FC Oss. He made his professional debut as Jong PSV player in the second division on 7 December 2015 against NAC Breda. He replaced Moussa Sanoh after 65 minutes.[2]

In the summer of 2016, he signed for NEC Nijmegen where he was expected to play for the second team. On 10 September 2016, he made his debut for NEC against his former club PSV Eindhoven.

International career

Groeneveld was born in Nigeria to a Dutch father and Nigerian mother, and was eligible to either national team.[3][4][5] He is an international for the Netherlands.

Groeneveld earned his first full international call up when Ronald Koeman named him in the Netherlands squad in October 2018.[6]

Groeneveld played his first international match against Germany on the 13th of October when he came on as a 68th minute substitute.
