Eleocharis ochrostachys is a sedge of the Cyperaceae family that is native to Australasia, Indomlaya and East Asia.
The rhizomatous perennial herb to grass-like sedge typically grows to a height of 0.35 to 0.6 metres (1.1 to 2.0 ft) and produces green flowers.[1]
It is found in and around swampy areas throughout its extensive range.
