Edward James Clemons was a former American football coach. He served as head coach of the Lane Dragons from 1938 to 1942 and again from 1946 to 1949. He later served as the head coach of the Morris Brown Wolverines from 1950 to 1962 and finally for one season in 1963 at Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi.[1]
