Edgar Veytia

Edgar Veytia (born c. 1970) is a Mexican jurist. He has been the attorney general for the Mexican state of Nayarit since 2013.[1][2]

On March 2, 2017, Veytia was charged with manufacturing, transporting and distributing heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana" from 2013 to February 2017 by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.[1][2] He was arrested on drug trafficking charges at the Cross Border Xpress on the Mexico-United States border on March 27, 2017.[1][2]
