Evangelistic Association of the East is the first missionary association of Syriac Orthodox Church founded in 1924 by 'Malphono Naseeho' Very.Rev.Fr. Geevarghese Cor-Episcopa Athunkal , This Arch Diocese is under the direct control of H.H Ignatius Aphrem II[2] Patriarch Of the Syriac Orthodox Church,[3][4] [5] [6].It is an organization with several Churches, Educational Institutions, Orphanages, Old Age Home, Dayara, Convent, Publications, Mission Centers, Gospel Team, Karunya Mission, Missionary Training Institute etc. in its ownership and management. It is registered in 1949 under Indian Societies Registration Act. XXI of 1860.(Reg. No. S.8/1949ESTD 1924)[7]
