Drew Doggett is an American photographer and filmmaker.[1] His work has been acquired by several institutions for their permanent collections. His first short film about the sand dunes of Namibia received an award at the International Nikon Photo Contest in 2015.[2] He has created several other short films, including Band of Rebels: White Horses of Camargue.[3]

Drew Doggett was born in Maryland and attended Vanderbilt University.[4] After moving to New York, Drew worked under fashion photographers Mark Seliger, Steven Klein & Craig McDean.[1]

In 2015 the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art acquired twenty images from Drew’s Omo: Expressions of a People series created during a 2011 trip to the Omo Valley Region in Ethiopia to document the traditions of the primarily semi-nomadic inhabitants, focusing on their beauty rituals.[5][6]

In 2016, the Mariners’ Museum in Newport News, VA acquired thirty images from Drew’s Sail: Majesty at Sea series. The series has an accompanying coffee-table book collaboration with sailor Gary Jobson, who wrote the forward, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, to which net sales proceeds are donated.[7][8]
