Sardar Dost Muhammad Khosa (Urdu: دوست محمد کھوسہ ) (born 22 October 1973) is a Pakistani politician affiliated with Pakistan Muslim League (N).[1] He was elected as the Chief Minister of Pakistan's most populous province, Punjab on 12 April 2008.[2] Dost Muhammad Khosa, is the son of former Punjab Governor Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khosa [3] He was born in Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab. He won the General Elections 2008 from Punjab Provincial Seat 244 Dera Ghazi Khan 5.

Education

22 October 1973 (age 43 years). Sardar Dost Muhammad Khan Khosa received his Primary Education from Aitchison College (Lahore).[4] Secondary Education from Government College, Lahore

Political career

In his political career, Sardar Dost Muhammad Khosa was first elected as MPA when his father vacated provincial seat after taking oath as Punjab Governor in August 1999. He had also served as UC Nazim of Churratta, D.G. Khan and later as Naib District Nazim D.G. Khan till contest of general election-2008.[4]

Personal

Dost Muhammad Khosa belongs from a Baloch tribe. He is the son of former Punjab Governor Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khosa.[4] He is the youngest of three brothers.[4]
