Dimitris Kyriakidis (Greek: Δημήτρης Κυριακίδης; born 24 June 1986 in Kavala) is a Greek footballer. He currently plays for Panetolikos.

Career

Kyriakidis is tipped to be a rising star. In the 2007-2008 season he made his first appearance for PAOK in a Greek Cup game against Thrasivoulos Filis.[1]

He was part of the Greece national under-21 football team for the past two years earning 3 caps. At the end of the 2015-2016 Superleague regular season, Kyriakidis was voted as the second best goalkeeper in the Greek league. On 29 January 2017, he renewed his contract with Panetolikos till the summer of 2020.

International career

In November 2016 Kyriakidis received his first call-up to the senior Greece squad for matches against Belarus and Bosnia and Herzegovina.[2]

On 15 March 2017, as a Panetolikos player Kyriakidis' international call in Greece national football team was a surprise by Michael Skibbe for Greece’s crucial qualifier next week against Belgium. [3]
