Diggstown (TV series)

Diggstown is a Canadian television drama series, slated to air on CBC Television in the 2018-19 television season.[1] The first Canadian drama series to feature a Black Canadian woman as its lead character, the series will star Vinessa Antoine as Marcie Diggs, a corporate lawyer who leaves her high-powered job to work for a legal aid clinic in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia after her aunt commits suicide.[2]

The cast is also slated to include Natasha Henstridge, C. David Johnson, Stacey Farber, Brandon Oakes, Shailene Garnett, Tim Rozon and Dwain Murphy.
