Derby by-election, 1936

The Derby by-election of 1936 was held on 9 July 1936. The by-election was held due to the resigned over budget leak of the incumbent National Labour MP, J. H. Thomas. The seat was gained by the Labour candidate Philip Noel-Baker.[1]
