Dean Lockhart MSP is a Scottish Conservative Party politician who has been a Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the Mid Scotland and Fife since the election in May 2016.

In 2016, he stood for the Scottish Parliament as the Conservative candidate for Stirling where he came second, then was elected from the Mid Scotland and Fife regional list.[1]

Lockhart is shadow cabinet secretary for economy, jobs and fair work.[2] He also sits on the Economy, Jobs and Fair Work Committee in the Scottish Parliament[3]

Prior to entering Scottish politics in May 2016, Lockart was a capital markets partner at law firm Linklaters, Singapore from 2007 until April 2016 [4] [5], having previously made partner in Hong Kong (2002-2007).
