De Maiwand Atalan (Pashto: د میوند اتلان) or the Maiwand Champions is a football team in Afghanistan.[1] They play in the Afghan Premier League. It was founded in August 2012 by the creation of the Afghan Premier League and its players have been chosen through a casting-show called Maidan-E-Sabz (Green Field). Based in the city of Kandahar, the club represents the provinces of Kandahar, Helmand, Urozgan, Nimruz, and Zabul in the southern region of Afghanistan.
They have two runners-up titles (2016, 2017).
