Darzamat is a large crater in the southern hemisphere of the dwarf planet Ceres, located at 44.21° S, 76.4 ° E. It has a diameter of 92 km. The crater is named after Darzamate or Dārza-māte; Latvian spirit, 'mother of the garden'.[1] It was officially named by the IAU on October 15, 2015.[1]
Nearby prominent craters are Tupo to the east, Chaminuka further east-southeast, Hamori to the south and Sintana to the west.
