Danny Richardson is a rugby league footballer who plays for St Helens in the Super League. He plays as a scrum-half or stand-off.

In 2017, he made his St. Helens début against the Leeds Rhinos. Having played just three times in his first season at professional level, Richardson joined Kingstone Press Championship outfit Sheffield Eagles as part of the clubs new Dual registration deal with St. Helens. In his first appearance, a 42-34 win vs. Swinton Lions, the scrum-half scored a try and converted seven goal kicks.

He has played for the Sheffield Eagles in the Championship on Dual registration from St. Helens .
