Danielle Jonas (née Deleasa; born September 18, 1986) is an American reality television personality and former hairdresser. She is known for starring on the E! Entertainment network's reality show called Married to Jonas. She starred on the show alongside her husband Kevin Jonas who is a musician and actor.

Early life

Danielle Jonas was born in Denville Township, New Jersey[1] on September 18, 1986. She has two sisters, Dina and Kathleen, and one brother, Mikey.[2] She worked as a hairdresser before meeting Kevin Jonas.[1] She met Kevin Jonas while both of their families were on vacation in The Bahamas in 2007. She claims she didn't know who The Jonas Brothers were as their first meeting occurred during the infancy of the band's career.[1]

Kevin Jonas was very interested in her and said he tracked her plane home and started calling her immediately. In an interview with Chelsea Lately he said: “It was kind of creepy, She probably shouldn't've stayed with me, but she did.”[3] They were married on December 19, 2009 in Oheka Castle and had 400 attendees.[4][5] Their first child, a daughter named Alena Rose Jonas, was born on February 2, 2014.[6] Their second daughter, Valentina Angelina Jonas, was born on October 27, 2016.[7]

Married to Jonas

Married to Jonas debuted on August 19, 2012.[8][9] The first episode stands as the network's most-watched series debut in over a year pulling in 1.8 million viewers.[10] The show ran for two seasons.[11] It primarily focuses on Kevin Jonas, the eldest of the Jonas Brothers and his married life with his wife Danielle Jonas. However, the first season also focused on the 2012 "comeback" of the Jonas Brothers.[12] The show also explored the family interactions of the Jonas family[13] and the Deleasa family.[14] Danielle Jonas's main story line in the first season of Married to Jonas focused on her tumultuous relationship with her mother-in-law, Denise Jonas.[15]
