Daiwal is a village, Union Council (administrative subdivision) number 08 of Khushab District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. Daiwal, Mangwal and Jaswal are the main parts of this union.[1] It is located at 32°31'60N 72°31'60E[2]

SANGHA Awan, Parhal Awan and Sumsal Awan are the biggest caste of Daiwal and the name of Daiwal was selected and nominated in the forefather of three major caste. Malik Ameer Haider Sangha was very brave and famous person of Daiwal. other caste Sangha, Samsal, Jhagra, Mughal and Mudhwal are also among the castes in Daiwal. In daiwal there are many villages like mudhwal meharwal (also known as dhok mherwall), Dhoak Shah Alam(Jhagra). Dhok Shah Alam Jhagra is named after the name of a highly respected elder of Jhagra Awan tribe. Malik Shah Alam was respected for his social influence in Daiwal village. The sources of income of the people of Daiwal are Goods Transport business. The well known goods transport companies include Wanhar Daiwal goods, New Malik Goods and Al-Awan goods etc. Government and private employment, Live stock farming. The Land of Daiwal is fertile but due to the lack irrigation water, the fertile land cannot be used effectively to grow crops. Daiwal, Mangwal and Jaswal are the three villages of the Union Council 8 of Khushab.
