Dahiru Musdapher (15 July 1942 – 22 January 2018)[1] was a Nigerian jurist. In 2011, he was appointed the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He served as Chief Judge of the Kano State Judiciary from 1979 to 1985, and as a member of the Court of Appeal from 1985 until 2003. He was the acting Chief Justice of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He was born a member of the Bani Ya'muusa clan in Babura Town in Babura, a local government area in the north of Jigawa State.

Personal life
He was married to Hajiya Amina Maikano in 1967, but the marriage ended in 1981.
He later married Hajiya Fatima Suleiman, more commonly referred to as Sabuwa, with three children, Khadijah, Kaloma and Suleiman. He has nine grandchildren, with Nabil being the oldest and Dahiru Jr (Muhammad) the youngest.
