About DXXA-TV

  • In 1989, DXXA-TV (GMA 10 Surigao) was launched three years before the launching of Rainbow Satellite as part of GMA Radio-Television Arts until April 1992 after Tower of Power was completed in October 1988 and opened on November 7 before the inauguration by then-President Corazon Aquino followed by a grand TV special. It is one of the few channels that continue to transmit GMA 7 from Manila alongside GMA Channel 9 Zamboanga, GMA Channel 7 Batanes and GMA Channel 12 Batangas.
