Cyperus pygmaeus is a sedge of the Cyperaceae family that is native to Australia.[1]
The spreading to prostrate annual herb sedge typically grows to a height of 5 centimetres (1.97 in). It blooms between July and August producing green-brown flowers.[1]
In Western Australia it is found along stream and creeks and around clay pans in the Kimberley region where it grows in loamy-silty soils.[1]
