Very Severe Cyclonic Storm Titli[1] was a strong tropical cyclone that devastated parts of Andra Pradesh and Odisha in India. Titli was the most intense tropical cyclone in the Bay of Bengal in 2018. Due to high atmospheric moisture and warmer oceanic surface temperatures between Gopalpur and Northern Andra Pradesh in mainland India, Titli intensified into a Cyclonic Storm on October 10, 2018.[2] The cyclonic storm is likely to make a landfall between Gopalpur in Odisha and Kalingapatanam in Andhra Pradesh early Thursday 11 October morning at a wind speed of 165 kmph.[2][3]

In view of the adverse weather conditions, it has advised hoisting of local warning signal LW-4 at all ports of Odisha
