Ara Marie Cristine Reyes-Khatibi (born 5 February 1989)[1] is a Filipina actress. She became a contestant of GMA's reality TV program, StarStruck. She is managed by Viva Artists Agency and a contract artist of ABS-CBN.[2][3][4] Reyes has since taken part in different ABS-CBN shows, including Kahit Isang Saglit (2008) and the eponymous title role in Eva Fonda (2009).[5]

Career

In 2008, she transferred from GMA Network to ABS-CBN. Her film career is currently managed by the film company Viva Films.

In 2011, Reyes starred in her first film No Other Woman, the second highest-grossing film in the Philippines for that year, alongside Anne Curtis and Derek Ramsay.

Personal life

Reyes gave birth to her first child, a daughter, Amarah with her boyfriend Ali Khatibi, a mixed martial artist, in February 2015. She proposed engagement with Khatibi on 14 September 2015.[6] The couple married in a private ceremony on 27 January 2016, in Balesin Island, Polillo, Quezon.[7]
