Community counseling

Community counseling is a generic term for any kind of professional counseling that occurs outside a hospital setting.[1] This term may also be used to describe a form of counseling that is focused on helping communities who may be struggling with an increased amount of shared psychological problems. These problems may be the result of traumatic events that have taken place recently within the community.
