The Committee on National Security (Albanian: Komisioni për Sigurinë Kombëtare, KSK) is a standing committee of the Albania's unicameral parliament. The committee consists of 14 people's deputies in the parliament convocation.

National Security Committee examines the draft laws, draft decisions and other issues represented in the Assembly, undertake studies on the effectiveness of the lows, follows the implementation of laws and controls the activity of ministers and other central bodies by proposing the Assembly or the Council of Ministers the necessary measures as well as proposes the adoption of draft laws, draft declarations and draft resolutions in the Assembly.[1]

Some of sectors of responsibility of the Committee on National Security are:

  • Public order
  • Armed forces and organization of national defense
  • Military cooperation and cooperation of State Police
  • Civil and Military service
  • Intelligence services.
