Clara is a Canadian science fiction film, directed by Akash Sherman and released in 2018. The film tells the story of Isaac Bruno (Patrick J. Adams, Suits), an astronomer consumed by the search for life beyond Earth. Convinced that the universe is a dark and lonely place, Isaac meets Clara (Troian Bellisario, Pretty Little Liars), an artist who shares a fascination for the wonders of space. Their unlikely collaboration leads to a deep connection and a profound astronomical discovery as they detect patterns in stellar data.[1]
The film's cast also includes Kristen Hager, R. H. Thomson, Ennis Esmer and Jennifer Dale.
The film was shot in Toronto in 2017,[2] and will premiere at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival.[3]
