Chongming line

The Chongming Line is a line on the Shanghai Metro that is part of the 2010-2020 Shanghai Metro plan. The construction will begin by the end of 2017,[1] and the first phase of which is planned to enter operation by 2020. It previously was treated as the last phase of Line 9, and was Line 19 until 2016, when it was renamed the Chongming Line. The Chongming Line starts at Jinji Road in Pudong and travels via the Shanghai Yangtze River Tunnel and Bridge to Dongtan Resort, Chongming District. It will have a branch line from Changxing Island to Hengsha Island. The Chongming Line will interchange with Lines 9 and 12.[2]

  • Left Part: From Changxing Island to Dongtan Resort and Hengsha Island, no timetable given.
