Chiara Scelsi is an Italian fashion model.

Early life

Scelsi is of Italian and Brazilian descent.^[2] Her father is from Calabria.

Career

When Scelsi was discovered, she was encouraged to go into acting, being considered too short for a high fashion model. Scelsi debuted as an exclusive at Chanel Spring/Summer 2016 show in Paris, October 2015. She is considered Karl Lagerfeld's muse.^[3][4] She has also modeled for DKNY, Vanessa Seward, Alberta Ferretti, Dolce & Gabbana,^[5] Polo Ralph Lauren,^[6] H&M,^[5] Diesel,^[7] Nike, Inc.^[8] and Juicy Couture.^[9][10]

Especially for Dolce & Gabbana Chiara modeled for many lines of the brand: from the main clothing line to beauty and eyewear campaigns worldwide.

Scelsi has appeared in InStyle magazine, Harper's Bazaar, Jalouse, Porter magazine, British Vogue, Vogue Germany, Vogue Mexico, V Magazine, ^[11] Nasty Magazine,^[12] i-D magazine,^[13] Vogue Paris,^[14] Vogue Brasil,^[15] Vogue Japan, and Lui Magazine among others.

She has been on the cover of Vogue Portugal, Elle Italy, Woman Madame Figaro Spain, The Daily Front Row, WSJ,^[16] Vogue Mexico & Latin America, and Interview Germany.^[17][18]

She walked for the likes of Chanel, Alberta Ferretti, Dolce & Gabbana, Francesco Scognamiglio fashion shows among others.
