Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Aughtry, also known as Chamberlain Hrdlicka, is an American law firm headquartered in Houston, Texas. Founded in 1965 by name partners Hank Chamberlain and George Hrdlicka, Chamberlain Hrdlicka originally achieved national prominence on tax law issues.[1] David Aughtry founded the Atlanta office in 1986. The firm represents both public and private companies, including many Fortune 500 companies, as well as individuals. As of 2017, Chamberlain Hrdlicka employs more than 125 attorneys in four offices across the country including Atlanta, Houston, Philadelphia and San Antonio.[2]

History

Chamberlain Hrdlicka's first office was founded in Houston, Texas in 1965 by Hank Chamberlain and George Hrdlicka, two veterans of the United States Department of Justice Tax Division.[1] The firm handles a wide variety of legal issues including tax planning, tax controversy, tax litigation, corporate, securities, employment, employee benefits, energy, estate planning, intellectual property, immigration, commercial and business litigation, real estate, and construction.[2]
