Chak is a village in Kapurthala district of Punjab State, India. It is located 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) from Kapurthala , which is both district and sub-district headquarters of Chak. The village is administrated by a Sarpanch who is an elected representative of village as per the constitution of India and Panchayati raj (India). [1]

Demography

According to the report published by Census India in 2011, Chak has a total number of 62 houses and population of 309 of which include 167 males and 142 females. Literacy rate of Chak is 75.37%, lower than state average of 75.84%.
