Catharine Bailey Baker (born Catharine Ann Bailey; May 1, 1971) is an American politician currently serving in the California State Assembly.[2] She is a Republican representing the 16th district, encompassing Lamorinda and the Tri-Valley area. Prior to being elected to the State Assembly, she was an attorney at Hoge Fenton Jones & Appel.[3]
Baker is the only Republican to represent any portion of the Bay Area at the state or federal level.[4]
