James Gallagher is an American politician currently serving in the California State Assembly. He is a Republican representing the 3rd district, encompassing parts of the Sacramento Valley. Prior to being elected to the state assembly he served as a supervisor for Sutter County. He succeeded fellow Republican Dan Logue in 2014, who ran unsuccessfully for Congress that year.
