Carlos Alós Ferrer (born 21 July 1975) is a Spanish professional football manager who currently manages Kazakhstan Premier League club FC Kairat.

Career

Club career

Carlos Alós Ferrer was born in Tortosa. He started as a professional player in CD Tortosa from 1993 to 1996. He played as a Goalkeeper in other professional teams as CD Alaves[1], CD Don Benito and CF Amposta. He finished his career as a player in 2003.

Managerial

As a coach, Alós started in CF Amposta academy in 2003.[2] Between 2005 and 2007 he trained CD Roquetenc[3]. The year 2008 he signed by CD Tortosa first team.[4] One year later, he goes to train as an assistant coach with Kitchee SC on Hong Kong Premier League.[5] After that experience, he accept to be coach in Futbol Club Barcelona academy from 2011 to 2014.[6] In 2014 he signs with Pogon Siedlce.[7] In 2015 he starts coaching Kazakhstan national football team U'17 and U'18 until 2017.[8] On 26 July, Ferrer was announced as the new manager of Kairat, agreeing a deal until the end of the 2017 season.[9] On 28 November 2017, Kairat announced that they had extended their contract with Ferrer for another two years.[10]
