Carex trichocarpa, common name hairy-fruited sedge is a species of Carex native to North America. It is listed as a Species of special concern in the State of Connecticut.[1] The larvae of Euphyes bimacula, common name two-spotted skipper, feed on the plant.[2] Euphyes bimacula is listed as endangered in the State of Connecticut.[3]
