Cadena Dial is a Spanish radio station. The station belongs to the Spanish Media Group PRISA. It was founded in 1990 and broadcasts exclusively music in the Spanish language (and Catalan, in Catalonia).
It is the second most listened music radio station in Spain with an audience of 2,307 million listeners (year 2012).[1] In 1996 Cadena Dial created the Dial Awards or Premios Dial for the most successful artists and groups in Spanish language. Until 2006, the annual awards show was held in Madrid, but from 2007 the venue of the Dial Awards is the Auditorio de Tenerife in the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands.[2]
